Our regular pottery classes are perfect for people wanting to make a commitment to a regular creative hobby.

These classes are suitable for all levels and all pottery styles; whether you want to learn about hand building techniques, throwing or surface decoration.

 

Individuality is encouraged and throughout the term you will be able to try your hand at as many or few techniques as you would like.

Info on Pottery Classes

Tradpots Pottery Studio  classes are open to everyone. Whether you’re a novice or professional and whether you’re looking for a one off taster or a more regular course to hone your skills – we offer something for everyone.

All of our classes are delivered in a relaxed and creative environment at our studio With a maximum class size of 10, equal focus is given to learning skills, creative development and giving each individual space to carve their own pottery experience.

​

Our approach to teaching is friendly, simple and open with a relaxed and informal environment allowing all students to follow their own preferences.

 

We offer demonstrations and tuition in all the basic building skills: coiling, slabbing, press moulding and of course throwing, but we are also more than happy to leave you to explore the clay on your own and guide you when you seek advice.

Info on cost of Items made will be charge by weight.

A pot the size of a mug will cost between £5.50 to £6.50.

PICK-UP POLICY

  • Before you come in to pick up, please wait for our call, so that we can ensure that your ceramic is ready. 

  • Haven't heard from us after a week? Check your voicemail or give us a phone call to ask about your piece.

  • Please pick up your pottery within 60 days of our call.

  • Tradpots Pottery is not responsible for any ceramics not picked up within these 60 days. Left over items will be donated or re-purposed. 

  • Posting Your Items

  • The post office will not insurance pottery items in the post .Tradpots will pack your pottery the best we can. But it items do get damaged in the post we can’t take responsible for the items. You the customs have to bear this in mind

Corporate Classes

A Corporate   Party is a great outing for a corporate or business group.  Build work and client relationships, friendship and trust away from your office setting with a hands-on, inter-active activity.  A great team-building activity!

A Corporate Art Party can be scheduled at a mutually convenient time on weekdays, weekends, or evenings.

PLEASE NOTE!

During the baking or cooling process some items may reveal stress fractures, calcium deposits, have pieces of kiln adhere to the surface, etc. And on occasion hand building projects can even explode! We do our best to make sure this doesn't happen with proper care and instruction and we are proud to say the we have a very low accident rate, however, dealing with this kinds of issues can be part of the craft. Should a kiln accident occur, we will do our best to repair your piece and make sure your experience with us is an enjoyable one!
