Paint your own Pottery

Painting pottery is fun and relaxing! Stop in at our studio anytime for a relaxing and creative pick-me-up. Come by yourself or with friends, and we will ensure you have an enjoyable and relaxing time!

No experience is necessary. You pick out the pottery piece you want to use. We provide the brushes, stencils, stamps, silk screens, idea books and a friendly staff to help you get started. All you must do is have fun and create something unique that you will be excited about.

​

Painting pottery is a great activity for family bonding, but it is also a perfect place for an after work ladies night or even a date night.

Feel free to bring snacks, beverages, have pizza delivered. The atmosphere is relaxing and inspiring.

How it works:

1: Choose an item to paint from our wide selection of bisque pieces and figurines

​

2: Create your own design and paint the bisque using your choice of glaze, brushes & special materials. then have them fired .

​

3:You can also use acrylic paints which means you can take the items you have painting home the same day. As they do not have to go in the kiln.This is ideal if you are on holiday.

​

4:After firing your creation in the kiln, your piece will be available to pick up or delivery in a few weeks, (2 to 4 weeks)

We can post on to you cost start from £5 ( depends on how many pots need to be sent.

​Info About Cost

Each item is individually prices ranging from £4 up to £50.

Plus, a studio fee of £6.50 for two hours.

​

Every hour after that will be £5 added on. This will cover equipment, paints, glaze and firing.

​

Once painted your unique piece of artwork will be glazed, fired and ready for you to collect within 2 to 4 weeks

​

 We advise to book in advance, especially if you are a large group and during the school holidays!!

P&P if needed to post is from £8 to £12.

PICK-UP POLICY

  • Before you come in to pick up, please wait for our call, so that we can ensure that your ceramic is ready. 

  • Haven't heard from us after a week? Check your voicemail or give us a phone call to ask about your piece.

  • Please pick up your pottery within 60 days of our call.

  • Tradpots Pottery is not responsible for any ceramics not picked up within these 60 days. Left over items will be donated or re-purposed. 

  • Posting Your Items

  • The post office will not insurance pottery items in the post .Tradpots will pack your pottery the best we can. But it items do get damaged in the post we can’t take responsible for the items. You the customs have to bear this in mind

Corporate Classes

A Corporate   Party is a great outing for a corporate or business group.  Build work and client relationships, friendship and trust away from your office setting with a hands-on, inter-active activity.  A great team-building activity!

A Corporate Art Party can be scheduled at a mutually convenient time on weekdays, weekends, or evenings.

PLEASE NOTE!

During the baking or cooling process some items may reveal stress fractures, calcium deposits, have pieces of kiln adhere to the surface, etc. And on occasion hand building projects can even explode! We do our best to make sure this doesn't happen with proper care and instruction and we are proud to say the we have a very low accident rate, however, dealing with this kinds of issues can be part of the craft. Should a kiln accident occur, we will do our best to repair your piece and make sure your experience with us is an enjoyable one!
